Is Brasserie Uno actually a brasserie?
No. Despite the name, Brasserie Uno is a casual fine dining restaurant in Zermatt with rustic charm and 1 Michelin Star. We are known for inventive flavours, creative wine pairings, and international cuisine made with unique Swiss ingredients. Brasserie Uno is the only independently owned Michelin starred restaurant in Zermatt, owned by Andreas Alm.
Who are the chefs at Brasserie Uno?
Our kitchen is led by Head Chef Luis Romo, alongside long-time Sous Chef Tommaso Guardascione. Together, they create seasonal, internationally inspired dishes driven by creativity, precision and respect for ingredients.
What kind of food do you serve?
We serve surprise tasting menus that change with the seasons. Our cuisine is rooted in Swiss produce, sustainability and minimal food waste, with ingredients sourced locally, including from our own gardens and foraged from nearby forests in warmer months.
What menus do you offer and when are they served?
- 6-course tasting menu: 7:00 pm
- 4-course tasting menu: 8:00 pm
For summer 2026, we also offer a limited main course walk-in option after 8:00 pm, subject to availability.
What does the tasting menu cost?
- 6-course menu: CHF 185
- 4-course menu: CHF 135
No à la carte or children’s menu is offered.
How long does the experience last?
- 6-course menu: approx. 3.5 hours
- 4-course menu: approx. 2.5 hours
Do you offer a wine pairing?
Yes. We offer optional wine pairings curated to complement each course, as well as alcohol-free options on request.
Is there a dress code?
No, not at all — we simply ask guests to feel relaxed and at ease in our rustic fine dining setting.
Can you accommodate allergies and dietary requirements?
Yes, with advance notice.

- We cannot accommodate requests on the night
- Vegetarian options are available for specific meat exclusions
- Vegan menus are not available
- Severe allergies: we cannot guarantee no cross-contamination, and traces may be present
What days are you open?
We are closed on Sundays and Mondays.
How do I make a reservation?
Reservations are essential and can be made online.
Walk-ins for a main course after 8:00 pm are available in summer 2026, subject to availability.
What is your cancellation and reservation policy?
All bookings are final and non-refundable. See the home page for the specifics of our policy.
Date changes are possible with at least 48 hours’ notice, subject to availability. One change per booking is permitted within a 1-year window.
Within 48 hours of the reservation, no changes are possible.
Prepayment covers the menu price at booking. If menu prices increase, the difference will be charged.
By booking, guests accept our full terms and conditions.
Can I use a gift voucher?
Yes. Simply add your voucher details when booking.
What is the maximum group size?
We can accommodate a maximum of 6 guests per table.
Separate bookings cannot be combined for larger groups.
Are children allowed?
We welcome guests aged 12 and over. No children’s menu is available.
Are dogs allowed?
Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted due to our open kitchen.
